Message
What I think about
The distance between design and manufacturing seems to widen year by year. Those who design do not know the floor where things are made, and those who make do not know the intent of the design. Far too much falls into the gap between them.
I learned design at Honda, took charge of an organization in Europe, and worked with young engineers in Vietnam. What was common across those places—different in country and language alike—was that results change completely depending on whether there is someone to connect the gap.
MES is a business built to stand in that gap. I value not stopping at advice, but handing over a structure that can actually get its hands on the work.
